I'm sure when writing this post you meant to write 4.4 Monero.
$ 1,600 for Motorola Signature 27?
I think I'll wait a little longer until the price comes down.
Well, i got the new laptop and so far it is working well.
As for my partitions i figured i would try a new to me filesystem called #btrfs instead of ole reliable #ext4. mainly because it can grow or shrink volumes as needed where ext4 partitions are more fixed size affairs. That coppy on write seems interesting. Running #NixOS on btrfs is likely massive overkill for system / data reliability.
#Linux
when setting up my new laptop i am intending to break /home and /nix into their own partitions. The NVME is 512GB so i am thinking
/ = 20GB
/nix = 50GB
swap = 16GB (2x RAM)
/home = all remaining
Thoughts? #NixOS
yeah, i cant afford 5.2 Monero for that
Motorola Signature 27 is here: the first non-Pixel with official GrapheneOS support!
